CHICAGO -- The defense rested their case on Wednesday after more than a month of grueling testimony in the "ComEd Four" trial. The "ComEd Four" are former Madigan confidant Michael McClain, former ComEd CEO Anne Pramaggiore, former ComEd lobbyist John Hooker and former ComEd consultant Jay Doherty. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Several days after a concourse at Nashville International Airport (BNA) was evacuated amid reports of "noxious fumes," airport officials have shared what exactly was to blame.BNA said the initial calls about "an unpleasant odor" in Concourse C near Tootsies came in just before 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 16. Passengers and employees were evacuated from the concourse by Airport Operations and Department of Public Safety (DPS).By 2:55 p.m., members of the Nashville Fire Department were dispatched to the airport to respond to "something airborne causing breathing problems," according to officials. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- On Wednesday, the University of Texas said there was no ongoing threat after a report of a suspicious person near the campus was reported shortly after 5 p.m., according to a Twitter post.At approximately 5:10 p.m., UTPD received a report of a suspicious person near the 2800 block of San Gabriel, the tweet said. UTPD officers responded and met with officers from the Austin Police Department to search the area.According to UT, UTPD and APD were not able to locate the suspicious person, and APD determined there was no ongoing threat to the community or to the campus.If anyone has any other information about the incident, they are urged to contact APD. WARROAD, Minn. — Nine men who entered the United States illegally from Canada were rescued from a subfreezing bog and given medical treatment for exposure to the cold, authorities said Wednesday.The nine, ranging in age from 19 to 46, were found Tuesday near Warroad, a small lakeside Minnesota community about 7.5 miles south of the Canadian border. All of the town roads will soon be reduced from 30 MPH to 25 MPH.The vote passed 4-1 at Wednesday night's town board meeting. BELLEVILLE, Ill. - The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is warning residents about an old scam with a new twist.Investigators said an 82-year-old woman living on Ross Lane was scammed out of $3,500 on April 12. Two days later, an 84-year-old man living on Blue Grass Lane lost $13,000.“It’s extremely sad and frustrating for us that someone would take advantage of our elderly population,” said Sgt.
