ST. LOUIS -- This weekend, all eyes will be on the 20th anniversary of when Christian Ferguson went missing. In a touching moment, Christian's mother, Theda Person, has introduced a new medical alert system designed especially for disabled individuals who go missing. The story of Christian Ferguson and the difficulties met by disabled individuals are clearly reflected in the creation of this medical alarm system. This Sunday at 5 p.m., Theda Person will celebrate the memory of her son at the waterfall fountain in the World's Fair Pavilion. Christian has been missing for 20 years, and sadly, he has never been found. Today is the actual date that he went missing. He was born with a genetic disorder that required care and medicine. Christian went missing on June 11, 2003, when he was nine years old. His dad, Dawan Ferguson, claimed that his SUV was stolen while Christian was still in it. Even though the SUV was found, Christian was still missing. Court papers showed that Christian ...St. Louis Archdiocese settles sexual abuse lawsuit for $1 Million

ST. LOUIS -- The archdiocese of St. Louis has agreed to pay roughly one million dollars to settle a sexual abuse lawsuit. That's according to our partners at the post office. The case involves a man who alleges he was sexually abused as a boy by Gary Wolken, a former priest at Ascension Catholic Church in Chesterfield in the 1990s. He was later sentenced to 15 years in prison. The archdiocese released this statement, saying, in part, "The protection of children and vulnerable adults is our highest priority. We are hopeful that this settlement provides some measure of comfort for the victim and for his family."The hazy weather will give into rain later in weekend

A baby took a seat in the Italian parliament for the first time ever on Wednesday (7 June), when lawmaker Gilda Sportiello breastfed her son Federico in the Chamber of Deputies, triggering a round of applause from fellow members. The event would be more commonplace in many countries, but was underlined by the acting lower-house speaker in traditionally male-dominated Italy."It's the first time, with the backing of all parties. Best wishes to Federico for a long, free, and peaceful life," said Giorgio Mule as he chaired the parliamentary session."Now we'll speak quietly."In November last year a parliamentary rules panel gave the go-ahead to women lawmakers to enter the chamber with their children and breastfeed them up to the age of one."Too many women stop breastfeeding ahead of time, not by choice, but rather because they are forced to return to the workplace," said Sportiello, from the left-leaning 5-Star Movement.Giorgia Meloni took office in October as Italy's first woman prime m...A haven in Alameda
