The Hotline mailbag is published every week. Send questions to pac12hotline@bayareanewsgroup.com and include ‘mailbag’ in the subject line — or hit me on Twitter: @WilnerHotline.Some questions have been edited for clarity and brevity. If a worst-case scenario occurs and one of the Four Corners schools takes the Big 12 offer and two more follow, what actually becomes of the conference and what happens to Washington and Oregon if the Big Ten is not ready to expand? — @trintranGreat question, and one that we have contemplated often over the past 10 months. There is no indication the majority of Big Ten schools are interested in adding new members in the short term and thereby detonating the Pac-12. AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in an Ohio city have agreed to temporarily bar the use of tear gas, pepper spray and other types of nonlethal force against nonviolent protestors, a move that comes after it was sued following a protest over a grand jury’s decision to not indict police officers who shot and killed a Black motorist.Akron officials and lawyers for the Akron Bail Fund — a group that supports protesters — reached the agreement late Friday after a federal court session that lasted for several hours.
